Summer field sampling

We wrapped up two weeks of intense field sampling of fish and parasites in Texas's last pristine, undammed river. PhD student Beth Field and REU student Mahala Peter-Frank developed methods to quantify sexual signals in sunfish to examine the effects of human habitat alteration on sexual selection and red-queen dynamics in the Rio Grande drainage basin.
